Currently, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has given his approval to sign the MOUs between the Delhi government, DMRC, and the central government for three of these metro corridors. These corridors include Janakpuri West to RK Ashram, Delhi Aerocity to Tughlakabad Station, and Majlis Park to Maujpur. After this approval, construction work on these three corridors will accelerate. With the signing of the MOUs, all the obstacles in the way of construction work for these three corridors will be completely removed. These three metro corridors will be 65.20 kilometers long in total and will have 45 metro stations. The MoU was stuck for many years. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal made personal efforts to clear the way for the MoU.
Work on these corridors _ Janakpuri West to Ramakrishna Ashram, Delhi Aerocity to Tughlakabad station, Majlis Park to Maujpur _ is underway as the financial clearance for the projects had already been obtained. However, the delay in signing of the MoU could have put a spoke in timely completion of the corridors. Now that the signing of the MoU has been approved by the chief minister, the project will gain momentum. Due to the MoU, all the obstacles in the way of these corridors have been completely removed.
Government of India on 09.03.2019, 04.07.2019 and 02.01.2020 conveyed its approval for the implementation of three priority corridors of the Delhi Metro Phase-IV projects:  RK Ashram to Janakpuri West (22 stations), Aerocity to Tughlakabad (15 stations) and Majlis Park to Maujpur (8 stations) in Delhi, covering a total length of 65.20 km with 45 stations in total.
The three corridors are under implementation and work is in progress on these lines at the total completion cost of Rs 24,948.65 crore.
The Kejriwal government is also trying to get approval for three other corridors pending with the central government under phase four as soon as possible.
The three other corridors under the Delhi Metro Phase-IV projects: Rithala-Bawana-Narela Kundli (21 stations), Inderlok-Indraprastha (10 stations) and Lajpat Nagar-Saket G Block (8 stations) measuring 47.225 km are pending approval of the Government of India. These three corridors are under active consideration of the Government of India and work will start on them in due course.
