— the crash of an Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter aircraft in Rajasthan’s Churu district, and the collapse of a bridge in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district that led to multiple vehicles plunging into the river, claiming at least ten lives and injuring several others.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved families and prayers for the swift recovery of the injured in both incidents. We express our solidarity with the affected families and communities and appreciate the prompt response of emergency teams and local authorities on the ground.
These back-to-back tragedies raise urgent questions about infrastructure safety and the standards of defence preparedness. We urge the government to conduct a time bound transparent and thorough investigations into both the aircraft crash and the bridge collapse. Preventive and corrective measures must be undertaken to ensure such painful incidents do not recur.

ایک ہی دن میں راجستھان میں بھارتی فضائیہ کے طیارے کے کریش ہونے اور گجرات میں بریج کے ٹوٹنے کی خبر انتہائی تکلیف دہ اور المناک ہے۔ راجستھان کے چورو ضلع میں ہندوستانی فضائیہ کا جیگوار لڑاکا طیارہ کریش ہوگیا جبکہ گجرات کے سریندر نگر ضلع میں بریج کے ٹوٹنے سے کم از کم دس افراد ہلاک اور متعدد زخمی ہوگئے۔

ملک میں لگاتار اس قسم کے سانحات کا ہونا انتہائی تشویشناک ہے اور پبلک انفراسٹرکچر اور تحفظ کے نظام کی کمزوریوں کی علامت ہے ۔ ہم حکومت سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ ان دونوں حادثات کی شفاف اور مکمل تحقیقات کرائی جائیں۔ ایسے دردناک واقعات دوبارہ نہ ہوں اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے مضبوط اقدامات اور ٹھوس احتیاطی تدابیر اختیار کی جائیں۔
