रायपुर, नई दिल्ली। 4 जनवरी 2025। नेशनल यूनियन ऑफ जर्नलिस्ट्स इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष रास बिहारी ने छत्तीसगढ़ के बीजापुर में माओवादी मुठभेड़ के बाद अपहृत सीआरपीएफ कर्मियों की रिहाई सुनिश्चित करने में अहम भूमिका निभाने वाले 28 वर्षीय पत्रकार मुकेश चंद्राकर की हत्या की कड़ी निंदा की है। रास बिहारी ने इस जघन्य हत्याकांड की निष्पक्ष जांच और दोषियों को कड़ी सजा देने की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस घटना से पत्रकार जगत मर्माहत है और यह एक अत्यधिक दुःखद समाचार है। एनयूजेआई अध्यक्ष ने दिवंगत पत्रकार के परिवार के प्रति गहरी संवेदना व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि उनको इस असह्य दुःख को सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।
विदित हो कि मृतक पत्रकार मुकेश चंद्राकर का शव शुक्रवार को एक ठेकेदार की संपत्ति पर बने सेप्टिक टैंक से बरामद किया गया। पुलिस ने इसे हत्या का मामला बताया है और कई संदिग्धों को पूछताछ के लिए हिरासत में लिया है। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार पिछले कुछ दिनों से पत्रकार मुकेश चंद्राकर से लापता थे। उनकी गुमशुदगी की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस ने जांच शुरू की और शुक्रवार को उनकी लाश ठेकेदार की संपत्ति से बरामद की। मुकेश चंद्राकर ने 2021 में बीजापुर में माओवादी मुठभेड़ के बाद अपहृत सीआरपीएफ कर्मियों की रिहाई के लिए महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई थी, जिसे लेकर वे काफी चर्चित रहे। हत्या का मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और घटना से जुड़े सभी पहलुओं की गहराई से जांच की जा रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि संदिग्धों से पूछताछ के बाद ही हत्या के कारणों का खुलासा हो सकेगा।

Ras Bihari has demanded a fair investigation into this heinous murder and severe punishment to the culprits. He said that the journalist community is heartbroken by this incident and this is a very sad news. The NUJI President expressed deep condolences to the family of the late journalist and said that give them strength to bear this unbearable grief.
It is known that the body of the deceased journalist Mukesh Chandrakar was recovered from a septic tank on a contractor’s property on Friday. The police have termed it a case of murder and have detained several suspects for questioning. According to the information received, journalist Mukesh Chandrakar was missing for the last few days. On receiving information about his disappearance, the police started an investigation and on Friday recovered his body from the contractor’s property. Mukesh Chandrakar played an important role in the release of abducted CRPF personnel after the Maoist encounter in Bijapur in 2021, for which he was very famous. A case of murder has been registered and all aspects related to the incident are being investigated in depth. Police say that the reasons for the murder will be revealed only after interrogating the suspects.
Mukesh Chandrakar was an experienced and courageous journalist who did deep and impressive reporting on the Naxal-affected areas of Chhattisgarh, especially Bastar. He played a key role in the release of CRPF commando Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who was abducted by Maoists after an encounter in Bijapur in 2021. His role in the case was appreciated by the state police. Mukesh did extensive reporting on Naxalite attacks, encounters, and socio-economic issues of Bastar.
