देहरादून में एक भव्य वार्षिक समारोह में मेरा गांव मेरा देश फाउंडेशन ने बच्चों में स्कूली बैग का वितरण किया। दिनांक 29 मार्च 2025 को देहरादून के एक सेमिनार हॉल में मेरा गांव मेरा देश फाउंडेशन ने रेनबो पब्लिक स्कूल के संयुक्त संयोजन में छात्रों के बीच स्कूली बैग एवं शिक्षण सामग्री वितरण कार्यक्रम का भव्य आयोजित किया। इस कार्यक्रम में फाउंडेशन ने पब्लिक स्कूल के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में जरूरतमंद बच्चों के बीच 100 से भी ज्यादा बैग और स्टेशनरी किट का वितरण किया। संस्थान के अध्यक्ष संजय कुमार सिंह ने अपनी बात रखते हुए मेरा गांव मेरा देश फाउंडेशन के संकल्प, शिक्षा, सेवा और सुरक्षा को दोहराते हुए कहा कि संस्थान, शिक्षा के प्रचार प्रसार के अपने संकल्प के साथ पूरी कटिबद्धता के साथ जुड़ी हुई है। फाउंडेशन ने न केवल शहरी क्षेत्र में अपितु देश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भी बच्चों में शिक्षा के प्रचार प्रसार को लेकर काम किया है जिससे समाज में शिक्षा के विस्तार में सहायता मिली है।

इस कार्यक्रम में पद्मश्री भूपेंद्र कुमार सिंह संजय और पद्मश्री माधुरी बर्थवाल सहित कई अन्य गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर लगभग 100 छात्रों में बैग वितरण करते हुए पदम श्री भूपेंद्र कुमार सिंह संजय ने दोहराया की शिक्षा देश की नींव है और यही नौनिहाल बड़े होकर सुनहरे भारत का तकदीर लिखेंगे। इसलिए उन्हें भोजन, सेहत और स्वास्थ्य के साथ-साथ शिक्षा भी मुहैया कराया जाना आवश्यक है।

इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थिति रही पद्मश्री माधुरी बर्थवाल ने बताया कि छात्रों को केवल अनुशासित और शिक्षित करने भर से काम नहीं चलेगा, उनमें मौलिक तथा नैतिक कर्तव्यों का बोध जगना भी जरूरी होगा। रेनबो आईडी पब्लिक स्कूल की प्राचार्य श्रीमती हेमा मारा ने बेटियों की शिक्षा पर बल देते हुए कहा की परिवार में अगर बेटी और बेटी दोनों हैं तो कोशिश होनी चाहिए की शिक्षा का दान बेटी को सबसे पहले प्रदान किया जाए। कार्यक्रम में भव्य रूप से सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। बच्चों ने विभिन्न राज्यों से जुड़े सांस्कृतिक नृत्य कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए।

गाजियाबाद से पधारे कानूनगो, श्री विजेंद्र सिंह जी ने कहा कि शिक्षा केवल नैतिक दायित्व बोध नहीं बल्कि यह हमारे मौलिक अधिकारों में से सबसे मजबूत अधिकार है। इसलिए बच्चों को उनका यह अधिकार जरूर दिया जाना चाहिए।उन्होंने मेरा गांव मेरा देश फाउंडेशन के कार्यों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि यह फाउंडेशन लगातार समग्र रूप से देश भर के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा, सुरक्षा और सेवा पर काम कर रही है। निश्चित ही यह फाउंडेशन का सराहनीय कार्य है।

  उन्होंने आगे कहा कि फाउंडेशन के अध्यक्ष संजय कुमार सिंह, एक कर्मयोगी है जिन्होंने फाउंडेशन के जरिए शिक्षा की अलख जगाई हुई है। दूर दराज से आए बच्चे शिक्षण पाकर अत्यंत प्रसन्न थे। बच्चे अपनी धमाकेदार प्रस्तुति के साथ कार्यक्रम में छाए रहे। अध्यक्ष संजय सिंह ने अंत में अपनी बात दोहराते हुए कहा वह पूरे कृत संकल्प होकर अपने इस मिशन में लगे रहेंगे और शिक्षा जैसी मूलभूत आवश्यकता को देश के कोने कोने तक पहुंचाने का प्रयास करेंगे। मेरा गांव मेरा देश फाउंडेशन पूरी प्रतिबद्धता के साथ देश के नींव के निर्माण में लगी रहेगी।

Trump is a product of capitalist crisis: Eric Schmidt, US Bases political activist

Day five of the Arvind Memorial Seminar organised by Arvind Institute of Marxist Studies (Initiative of Arvind Memorial Trust – AMT) saw intense debate and spirited exchange of views on characterisation of Fascism in India, to devise the correct proletarian strategy against fascism, and building anti-fascist struggle in the front of Art and culture.

Eric Schmidt, a US based Maoist political activist who came from New York to attend the seminar gave a presentation on the Trump phenomenon. He mentioned that Trump represents a quasi fascist reaction in the US which is an outcome of the crisis of capitalism.

Revolutionary Hindi poet and political activist Katyayani presented her paper on the topic ‘Fascism in Our Times and the Front of Art and Literature: Some Important Inquiries’. The paper began with a characterisation of the general and contemporary particular characteristics of fascism. Moving on to the elaboration on how fascism uses art and literature in their favour, she explained the cultural strategy of hindutva fascists including the usage of reactionary and revivalist elements. She outlined the historic experiences in the front of art and literature in anti-fascist struggle and presented a critical analysis on the alien tendencies in it. The insightful paper concluded with the need to chart out the correct tasks on the front of art, literature and culture for revolutionaries in the struggle against fascism.

Earlier, the day began with a critical discussion on the paper, “Understanding of Fascism and the Strategies for its Resistance within the Indian Communist Movement: A Critical Analysis.”, presented by Sunny Singh. Questions were raised on issues such as Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers, dominant mode of production in India. Sunny and Abhinav responded to these questions on behalf of AMT. It was advocated that Marxist – Leninists should build independent struggles on the demands of rural workers and poor and marginal farmers such as institutional credit, labor regulations for agricultural workers etc, rather than tail ending the rich farmers in support of MSP etc. Com. Murali, on whom the paper presented a detailed critique, opined that such critical engagement on ideas is an essential prerequisite for advancing Marxist theory and expressed his willingness to engage in a polemical exchange over the critique.

Com. Padma presented a paper, written by Com. KG Ramachandar, on the views of the CPI(ML) Mass Line. It described the current regime as open terrorist dictatorship and agreed with the position of AMT that fascism is not just any far-right reaction; It is a particular kind of far-right reaction.

Two papers were presented in the afternoon session; “Exploring the politics of performance through the ‘Social drama’ and ‘esthetic drama’ by a Kolkata based researcher Dishari Chakraborty and “Resurgence of Fascist ideologies in the 21st century: analysing the impact of state aggression and human rights in the middle east by Adil Kadavath, a student from Kerala.

On the fifth and final day, the seminar presented rich and insightful discussions. There was revolutionary enthusiasm among the delegates which was reflected in their active engagement in the discussions. Critical engagements that took place reflected a true Marxist – Leninist tradition of polemics. The seminar underscored the urgent need for building a revolutionary working class party that can lead a decisive struggle to sound the deathknell for fascism and concluded amid roaring slogans by delegates, reflecting the revolutionary energy of the youth.

*Critical paper on Anti-Fascist strategy of the Indian Communist Movement presented at the Arvind Memorial Seminar*

Day four of the Arvind Memorial Seminar organised by Arvind Institute of Marxist Studies (Initiative of Arvind Memorial Trust) saw fruitful and insightful discussions to devise the correct proletarian strategy against fascism, forge new alliances and gain a better theoretical understanding of the mode of operations and mode of existence of the fascist forces all across the world.

In Nicolai Messerschmidt’s paper presentation, he referred to the Frankfurt School, particularly the critical theorists who examined the psychological and sociological underpinnings of fascist movements. Focusing on thinkers like Theodor Adorno, Erich Fromm, and Max Horkheimer, the paper analysed how fascism’s appeal to the masses is rooted in social alienation, authoritarian personalities, and mass psychology. Drawing connections between the rise of fascism in 20th-century Europe and the contemporary political climate, the paper highlighted how these theories can inform current anti-fascist movements. This was followed by an intense critical discussion in which the Marxist participants mentioned that undermining causality and universality will lead to a reactionary theory of fascism.

At noon, Sunny Singh, a political activist based in New Delhi, presented on the topic: Understanding of Fascism and the Strategies for its Resistance within the Indian Communist Movement: A Critical Analysis. This paper explored the historical trajectory of anti-fascist strategies adopted by Indian communists, drawing from key moments in India’s freedom struggle and post-independence political struggles. Special attention was paid to the role of Communist parties in organizing resistance and building alliances against authoritarian forces, their historical blunders, and their role as fascisation of the Indian society continued.

In the second half, Jiselle Hannah (Political Activist, Secretary Australia Asia Worker Links (AAWL)) presented on the topic, ‘The Rise of the alt-right in Australia and How We’re Fighting Back’. The paper provided an in-depth analysis of the socio-political conditions enabling the growth of far-right movements and the collective efforts to resist it.

Today’s discussions were rich, insightful and offered the audience a perspective on the different trends, incorrect tendencies within the Indian communist movement and the urgent need for building a revolutionary working class party that can lead a decisive struggle to sound the deathknell for fascism. A critical discussion pointing out the faults in Prabhat Patnaik’s positions on political economy also took place.

On the concluding day tomorrow, Arvind Memorial Seminar will see paper presentations by activists and scholars like the revolutionary poet and activist Katyayani.
