*नई दिल्ली, 16 सितम्बर -* हरियाणा के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री पंकज अग्रवाल ने बताया कि आगामी 5 अक्तूबर को होने वाले हरियाणा विधानसभा के आम चुनाव-2024 में प्रदेश के 2,03,54,350 मतदाता अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग कर सकेंगे। मतदान के लिए 20,629 पोलिंग बूथ बनाए गए है।

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 27 अगस्त को मतदाता सूची का अंतिम प्रकाशन किया गया था। उसके उपरांत 2 सितंबर, 2024 तक वोट बनवाने के लिए फार्म-6 जमा करवाये जा सकते थे जिनके निपटान के फलस्वरूप 1,29,392 नए मतदाता सूची में शामिल हुए, जिसमें 64,031 पुरुष, 65,352 महिलाएं और 9 थर्ड जेंडर मतदाता जुड़े। अब प्रदेश में मतदाताओं की कुल संख्या 2,03,54,350 है।

*प्रदेश में 100 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के 8,821 मतदाता*

श्री पंकज अग्रवाल ने बताया कि 2,03,54,350 मतदाताओं में से 1,07,75,957 पुरूष, 95,77,926 महिलाएं और थर्ड जेंडर 467 मतदाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि 18 से 19 आयु वर्ग के 5,24,514 युवा मतदाता है। इसी प्रकार, 1,49,142 दिव्यांग मतदाता तथा 85 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के 2,31,093 मतदाता हैं। इसके अलावा, 100 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के मतदाताओं की संख्या 8,821 है। इसके अतिरिक्त, 1,09,217 सर्विस मतदाता है।

*हर मतदाता को मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम करना चाहिए चेक*

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने कहा कि विभाग की वेबसाइट ceoharyana.gov.in पर मतदाता सूचियां अपलोड है, कोई भी मतदाता अपना नाम मतदाता सूची में चेक कर सकता है। इसके अलावा, वोटर हेल्पलाइन नंबर- 1950 पर कॉल करके भी अपनी वोट को चेक किया जा सकता है। वोट डालने के लिए मतदाता सूची में नाम शामिल होना अनिवार्य है।

*New Delhi, September 16* – Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Pankaj Agarwal today disclosed that a total of 2,03,54,350 voters will be able to exercise their franchise in the upcoming General Election 2024 for the 15th Haryana Legislative Assembly, scheduled for October 5. To facilitate the voting process, 20,629 polling booths have been established across the state.

*Women enrolled more than men as new voters*

Mr. Agarwal said that following the final publication of the voter list on August 27, Form-6 submissions were accepted until September 2, 2024. This led to the addition of 1,29,392 new voters to the list, comprising 64,031 men, 65,352 women, and 9 third-gender individuals. Consequently, the total number of registered voters in the state now stands at 2,03,54,350.

*There are 8,821 voters above 100 years of age in the state*

The Chief Electoral Officer provided detailed demographics of the voter base, stating that out of the total 2,03,54,350 voters, there are 1,07,75,957 men, 95,77,926 women, and 467 third-gender voters. Among these, there are 5,24,514 young voters aged 18 to 19, 1,49,142 persons with disabilities voters, and 2,31,093 voters aged 85 years or above. Remarkably, there are 8,821 voters above the age of 100, along with 1,09,217 service voters.

Mr. Agarwal informed that the voter lists are available on the department’s website ceoharyana.gov.in Apart from this, voters can check their name in the voter list by calling the voter helpline number – 1950. It is mandatory to be listed in the voters list for casting the vote in the election.
