NEW DELHI, September 27, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that after resigning as Chief Minister, Kejriwal is very concerned about the broken roads and other problems facing the people, which was a mere political stunt, as   he had not shown any such concern when he paralised governance by clinging on to the post of CM when he was sent to jail in connection with the liquor scam, which was a  gross misuse of the office of the CM. He said that Kejriwal was still enjoying the facilities of the CM by roaming around with dummy CM Atishi, and continued to  stay on in  the palatial Chief Minister’s residence at Civil Lines, even after resigning from the top post.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Kejriwal should first tell the people of Delhi why he had totally neglected  the development of the Capital over the past 10 years, and destroyed the  public infrastructure as his Government gave no attention to the proper maintenance of roads, cleaning of drains and sewers, ensuring potable drinking water to people, upkeep of the hospitals and schools, improving the DTC services, removing garbage, and other such issues. He said that when the Capital got waterlogged, over 40  people died due to drowning in flooded streets and electrocution, Kejriwal did not show any concern as he was busy writing letters to the LG, suggesting the name of Atishi for the flag hoisting on Independence day, and not in solving the problems of the people. He said that the main roads and arterial roads were broken, pot-holed kicking up dust to contribute to the toxic air,  and after sunset, the entire city  plunges into darkness as the street lights rarely function, with the Discoms showing total disregard in the maintenance and  upkeep of street lights.

Shri Devender Yadav said it was a fact that the AAP Government was not only doing any work for the past six months, when Kejriwal was sent to jail, but for the past 10 years when he was roaming free as Chief Minister as his entire focus was in making money through corrupt deals, with the liquor scam eventually proving his nemesis.

Shri Devender Yadav said that people of Delhi have now realized that only when Congress was in power for 15 years, the Capital witnessed unprecedented development and progress, and they want the Congress back in Government again, as both BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have failed in governing the city and serving the interest of the people, as the Delhi Government and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi have turned out to be totally inefficient and inept in handling the problems of the city.

नई दिल्ली, 27 सितम्बर, 2024- दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री आतिशी के साथ अरविन्द केजरीवाल का यह कथन कि अब मैं आ गया हूँ, सारे काम हो जाऐंगे। उनका कथन स्पष्ट करता है कि आतिशी कठपुतली है वास्तव में सरकार केजरीवाल ही चला रहे है। जनता के बीच जाकर टूटी सड़कों और बदहाल हालात का निरीक्षण कोरा ड्रामा है। वर्षों से टूटी सड़कों को जनता के बीच जाकर अपने ही लोगों से कहलवाना कि 6-7 महीने से दिल्ली में काम नही हुआ है, आम आदमी पार्टी जनता को गुमराह करने का षडयंत्र रच रही है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षों में काम नही करने वाले अरविन्द केजरीवाल तिमारपुर विधानसभा के दौरा करते वक्त साफ पता चल गया है कि जनता आप पार्टी की सरकार से पूरी तरह नाराज है। लोग चीख-चीख कर बोल रहे थे कि पेंशन नही मिल रही, राशन कार्ड नही बने, पेंशन के लिए जाते है बदतमीजी से बात करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि केजरीवाल को दिल्ली की जनता को यह जवाब देना चाहिए कि दिल्ली के विकास कार्य रुके ही क्यों थे। आप पार्टी की सरकार, मंत्रियों और विधायकों ने पिछले 6-7 महीने से सिर्फ केजरीवाल और दिल्ली की सत्ता बचाने की लड़ाई लड़ी है। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर केजरीवाल को दिल्ली की चिंता होती, तो उन्हें जेल जाने से पहले ही मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देना चाहिए था।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादवने कहा कि आज केजरीवाल सड़कों पर जाकर निरीक्षण का ड्रामा कर रहे हैं। इससे पहले उन्होंने 10 वर्षो में कभी टूटी सड़कों, अस्पतालों, स्कूलों, चौराहों का निरीक्षण किया था। आप पार्टी के नेता तब कहाँ थे जब दिल्ली में जल भराव, करंट लगने, नालों में डूबने और इमारतों के ढहने के कारण 40 से भी अधिक लोगों की जान चली गई थी? निगम ने सही समय पर इमारतों का निरीक्षण क्यों नहीं किया? अगर निरीक्षण किया होता, तो दिल्ली में इमारत गिरने से लोग नही करते। उन्होंने कहा कि विधानसभा सत्र के पहले दिन भी जब केजरीवाल मनीष सिसोदिया के साथ निरीक्षण कर रहे थे, तो ऐसे आदेश दे रहे थे जैसे कि वे ही मुख्यमंत्री हों। आतिशी जी ने खुद मान चुकी है कि केवल रिमोट कंट्रोल या नाममात्र की मुख्यमंत्री हैं।  दिल्ली की जनता अब केजरीवाल का ड्रामा भली-भांति समझ चुकी है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि दिल्ली भर की अनधिकृत कॉलोनियों, पुनर्वास कॉलोनियों, जे.जे. कलस्टर और झुग्गी झौपड़ी के हर घर के सामने टूटी-फूटी सड़कें, गंदगी के ढेर, घर में गंदा पानी, बंद मोहल्ला क्लीनिक पर जाकर भी केजरीवाल अगर घूमेंगे तो उन्हें अपनी सरकार और विधायकों की नाकामी बखूबी देख सकेंगे। स्कूलों में शिक्षकों की कमी, अस्पतालों में डॉक्टरों, नर्सों की कमी पर केजरीवाल जनता को जवाब दें।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी की नाकामियों, भ्रष्टाचार और बदहाल दिल्ली की बदली परिस्थितियों का आकलन करके दिल्ली की जनता ने ठान लिया है आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों में कांग्रेस पार्टी को एक बार फिर सत्ता में लाकर दिल्ली में बदलाव लाना चाहती है।
