NEW DELHI, March 22, 2025—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav appealed to Delhi Chief  Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta to include a “special package” in the coming Delhi budget for the development of the villages, rural areas and unauthorized colonies as over the past 11 years, no development had been carried out in these areas to force people to lead a hellish life. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party had used the people of Delhi’s villages, rural areas and the unauthorized/slum clusters as mere vote banks without  doing any sort of development ever since AAP came to power. He said that  even drinking water is a luxury in these colonies as people starve for water with the Delhi Jal Board authorities keeping a blind to the plight of the people.

Shri Devender Yadav said that  the BJP manifesto had made many promises to the people of  rural areas and unauthorized colonies, including ownership rights to residents of unauthorized colonies, and the BJP Government should honour its election promises by including a special package in the coming Delhi Budget for the development of these areas.

Shri Devender Yadav said that residents of the villages, rural areas and the unauthorized colonies cope with unbearably harsh life due to overflowing  sewers and drains, broken sewage pipeline, broken roads, lack of schools and sports facilities as the previous Government had only made rosy promises without fulfilling any of them.

Shri Devender Yadav said that during monsoon, people have to live with flooded homes and streets, as the drains had not been desilted or repaired for the past many years. Shri Devender Yadav said that the Government acquired the farm lands for development works without giving appropriate compensation to the farmers, but sadly, no development has reached the villages, rural areas and unauthorized colonies to push lakhs of poor people into  a life of misery.

दिल्ली की भाजपा सरकार दिल्ली गांव देहात और अनधिकृत कालोनियों के पूर्ण विकास के लिए दिल्ली बजट में एक “विशेष पैकेज“ दें क्योंकि पिछले 11 वर्षों में इन क्षेत्रों के विकास को पूरी तरह अनदेखा किया गया है। – देवेन्द्र यादव

नई दिल्ली, 21 मार्च, 2025 – दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने 24-28 मार्च तक चलने वाले बजट सेशन में भाजपा की दिल्ली सरकार की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता से मांग की कि दिल्ली गांव देहात और अनाधिकृत कॉलोनियों के विकास के लिए स्पेशल पैकेज बजट का प्रावधान किया जाए। आम आदमी पार्टी के पिछले 11 वर्षों के विनाशकाल में दिल्ली गांव देहात और कच्ची कॉलोनियां पूरी तरह खस्ताहाल पड़े है, यहां विकास खत्म हो चुका है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि दिल्ली के बजट में 1700 अनाधिकृत कालोनियों में विकास और जन सुविधाओं को दुरस्त करने और दिल्ली गांव देहात के किसानों और अन्य वर्गों के लोगों की मांगों को ध्यान में रखकर यहां बजट में विशेष प्रावधान के तहत योजनाओं को अंजाम देना होगा। यहां सड़के टूटी हुई, सड़कों पर गहरे गड्डे है। पीने के पानी की कोई सुविधा नही है। नालियां, गलियां बदहाल है और जल निकासी की समस्या बहुत ही जटिल है। मानसून में बारिश होने पर जल भराव का आलम यह होता है कि पानी घरों में भर जाता है क्योंकि नालियों और जल निकासी के लिए नालों की सफाई वर्षों से नही हुई है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार की नाकामियों के कारण दिल्ली गांव देहात और अनाधिकृत कालोनियों में कुछ काम न होने की वजह से नरकीय जीवन जीने को मजबूर है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली बजट में दिल्ली गांव देहात के लोगों की लैंड पूलिंग पॉलिसी को लागू करने के मद्देनजर सरकार भविष्य की योजनाओं को प्रस्तावित करें ताकि गांव देहात के लोगों को भूमि का उचित मुआवजा मिल सके और युवाओं को रोजगार के अवसर मिलने के साथ यहां के लोगों को आगे बढ़ने के अवसर भी मिलेंगे। लैंड पुलिंग पॉलिसी और ’प्लान्ड डेवलपमेंट पॉलिसी लागू होगी तो यहां नए मकान, अस्पताल, स्कूल, कालेज, पार्क, आदि सुविधाएँ जनसाधारण को मिलेगी। गांव देहात में समाज के हर वर्ग किसान, ग़रीब मज़दूर, ट्रान्सपोटर, दुकानदार, पेशेवर, व्यापारी सभी को नये काम-धन्धे मिलेंगे और लैंड पूलिंग आने से सरकार के राजस्व में भी बढ़ोत्तरी होगी।  उन्होंने कहा कि 1700 अनाधिकृत कालोनियां को पूर्ण स्वामित्व देने सहित यहां मूलभूत सुविधाओं और विकास पर ध्यान आकर्षित करके बजट में विशेष प्रावधान किए जाएं।
