NEW DELHI, August 2, 2024—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Devender Yadav said that the BJP Government has been misusing CBI, ED and other probe agencies for the past 10 years to target political opponents and those who speak up openly against the wrong doings of the ruling dispensation, but Congress is unafraid of such threats, and “we are proud of the fact that our leader, Shri Rahul Gandhi, has openly said about the move to put the ED after him”.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Congress was waging the battle to uphold truth, and was not afraid to share truthful information with the media. He said that Congress will not be cowed down by threats and intimidation by the Modi Government, and will continue its fight for justice as Shri Rahul Gandhi, as Leader of the Opposition, was speaking up for the people of the country without fearing anyone. He said that the authoritarian rule by the BJP has created an atmosphere of fear and coercion among crores of  farmers, labour, youth etc. but Shri Rahul Gandhi will continue to raise their voice  inside and outside Parliament.

Shri Devender Yadav said that the BJP Government at the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi, instead of discharging their responsibilities for the  benefit of the people, have been acting against the interest of the people by totally neglecting their duties. He said that during the past 10 years, the AAP Government  had not bothered to repair the broken roads and other civic infrastructure, and whatever infrastructure which are  visible now were created by the Congress Government during its 15-year rule. He said that there was an urgent need to replace the decrepit infrastructure and aged buildings, clean up the clogged drains and sewers, and  improve the civice facilities, but the AAP Government and the BJP, due to their incompetence, inefficiency and inaction, have given priority to corruption, instead of addressing the requirements of the people.

Shri Devender Yadav said that Delhi needs an efficient Government with competent people at the helm, who can get things done in a time-bound manner, instead of blaming each other and indulging in slanging matches, as such pointless exercise  will not solve the problems of the people of Delhi. He said that what people need was potable water, check in the steep hike in the power tariff on various heads, preventing waterlogging of streets when monsoon rains lash the Capital, as blame games have been the bane of the people. He said that there was an urgent need to improve the  infrastructure on the basis of the Master Plan, like proper roads and drainage system, improved infrastructure for schools and hospitals, as the Capital needs planned development, and not uphazard growth sans planning or preparations. He said that it was very surprising that the AAP Government was using every trick in its armoury to save its jailed Chief Minister, while the BJP has been making grandiose announcements without fulfilling even one of them, as both AAP and BJP have been politicising every issue, instead of solving the pressing problems faced by the people.

नई दिल्ली, 2 अगस्त, 2024- दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि सीबीआई, प्रवर्तन निदेशालय सहित जांच एजेंसियां सरकार के ऐसे टूल है जिनका पिछले 10 वर्षों से लगातार दुरुपयोग कर रही है। हमारे नेता श्री राहुल गांधी जी ने उन पर ईडी की रेड की बात खुलकर निडर होकर कही है, हम अपने नेता पर गर्व महसूस करते है। उन्होंने कहा कि जब-जब केन्द्र की भाजपा सरकार को अपने खिलाफ बोलने वालों से डर लगता है वह ईडी/सीबीआई का इस्तेमाल करती है, यह पूरा देश देख रहा है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि काग्रेस सच्चाई की लड़ाई लड़ रही है। उन्होंने कहा  कि हम हर वह जानकारी प्रेस को देंगे जो आपको चाहिए। कांग्रेस पार्टी डरने वाली नही है, मजबूती के साथ आगे बढ़ती रहेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि राहुल जी लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता है और देशवासियों के लिए बोलने का पूरा अधिकार है और सभी जानते है कि तानाशाही शासन में देश के करोड़ो किसान, मजदूर, और युवा डरे हुए हैं।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि भाजपा की केन्द्र सरकार और दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार अपना मुख्य दायित्व निभाने की जगह जनता के हित में नही, जनता के विरुद्ध नीति के तहत काम कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षों में राजधानी में मौजूदा सरकार ने रोड़, सड़क नही बनाए है, कोई बिल्डिंग नही बनाई और जो इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर कांग्रेस की सरकार ने 15 वर्षों में खड़ा किया था उसकी देखभाल और रख-रखाव नही कर पाई, जिसके कारण पूरा का पूरा इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर धराशाही हो गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज हमें इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर विकसित करने की बात करनी चाहिए।  पुरानी बिल्डिंग, दीवारें गिर रही है, नाले नाली बंद है, जल भराव के कारण बाढ़ जैसा माहौल बन गया है और सब कुछ सरकारों की निष्क्रियता, अक्षमता और बदले की राजनीति के चलते सब कुछ भ्रष्टाचार की भेंट चढ़ गया है।

श्री देवेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि राजधानी में सुचारु प्रशासन और हालात को व्यवस्थित करने के लिए सब चीजों का सम्पूर्ण समाधान निकालने के रुप में देखा जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि उचित योजना के तहत मास्टर प्लान के मुताबिक काम होना चाहिए, परंतु वर्तमान में राजधानी के बिगड़ते हालात के बाद देखने में आया है कि सरकार ने मास्टर प्लान को साईड में रख दिया है। भवन, नाले, नाली, सड़कें, स्कूल, अस्पताल आदि सभी में सुधार करने की जरुरत है, परंतु आज की सरकारें एक दूसरे के उपर आरोप लगाने के अलावा कोई काम नही कर रही हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि एक सरकार अपने मुख्यमंत्री को बचाने में व्यस्त है और दूसरी भाजपा की केन्द्र सरकार बड़ी-बड़ी बातें तो करती है, परंतु हर मुद्दे पर अपनी जिम्मेदारी से भागती नजर आई है। श्री यादव ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी और भाजपा ने राजधानी में हर मुद्दे का राजनीतिकरण का ट्रेंड बना लिया है।
