The Election Commission of India is on a two-day visit to Haryana

*Election Commission of India Reviews Preparations for Upcoming Haryana Assembly Elections*

*New Delhi, August 12 to review preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. On the first day, Chief Election Commissioner, Sh. Rajiv Kumar, along with Election Commissioners, Sh Gyanesh Kumar and Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, met with representatives of national and state political parties

Following this, the Commission held a review meeting with Divisional Commissioners, Range IGs, District Election Officers, and Superintendents of Police to discuss election preparations in detail.

Sh. Rajiv Kumar and the Election Commissioners met with Haryana’s Chief Secretary, Sh. TVSN Prasad, Director General of Police, Sh. Shatrujeet Kapur and Administrative Secretaries.

Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal also briefed the Commission on poll preparations along with State Police Nodal Officer.

Tomorrow the Commission will be meeting enforcement agencies.

 *भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने की आगामी हरियाणा विधानसभा चुनावों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा*

*नई दिल्ली, 12 अगस्त -* हरियाणा के आगामी विधानसभा आम चुनावों के दृष्टिगत भारत निर्वाचन आयोग 2 दिवसीय हरियाणा दौरे पर है। आज पहले दिन मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त श्री राजीव कुमार और चुनाव आयुक्त श्री ज्ञानेश कुमार व डॉ. सुखबीर सिंह संधू ने राष्ट्रीय और राज्य स्तरीय राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बैठक की।

इसके बाद आयोग ने मण्डल आयुक्तों, रेंज आईजी, जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारियों और पुलिस अधीक्षकों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक कर चुनाव तैयारियों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।

इसके अलावा, श्री राजीव कुमार और निर्वाचन आयुक्तों ने हरियाणा के मुख्य सचिव श्री टीवीएसएन प्रसाद, पुलिस महानिदेशक श्री शत्रुजीत कपूर और प्रशासनिक सचिवों के साथ भी अहम बैठक की।

हरियाणा के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी श्री पंकज अग्रवाल ने राज्य पुलिस नोडल अधिकारी के साथ आयोग को चुनाव तैयारियों की जानकारी दी। कल आयोग प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों के साथ बैठक करेगा।
