The establishment of the ‘Business Management and Agripreneurship Institute’ in Gurugram by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, will be a significant step towards promoting agriculture, entrepreneurship, and innovation in the state.

This institute will provide high-quality and practical education to youth in areas such as business management, agricultural entrepreneurship, innovation, startups, digital marketing, agribusiness, supply chain management, and financial management.

चौधरी चरण सिंह हरियाणा एग्रीकल्चरल यूनिवर्सिटी, हिसार द्वारा गुरुग्राम में ‘बिज़नेस मैनेजमेंट और एग्रीप्रेन्योरशिप इंस्टीट्यूट’ की स्थापना राज्य में खेती, एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप और इनोवेशन को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में एक अहम कदम होगा।

यह इंस्टीट्यूट युवाओं को बिज़नेस मैनेजमेंट, एग्रीकल्चरल एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप, इनोवेशन, स्टार्टअप्स, डिजिटल मार्केटिंग, एग्रीबिज़नेस, सप्लाई चेन मैनेजमेंट और फाइनेंशियल मैनेजमेंट जैसे क्षेत्रों में अच्छी क्वालिटी वाली और प्रैक्टिकल शिक्षा देगा।

New Delhi – August 8- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the establishment of the Business Management and Agripreneurship Institute by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, in Gurugram would be a significant step towards promoting agriculture, entrepreneurship and innovation in the State.

The institute will provide youth with quality and practical education in areas including business management, agricultural entrepreneurship, innovation, startups, digital marketing, agribusiness, supply chain management and financial management. This will enable young people not only to seek employment but also to emerge as entrepreneurs who create employment opportunities for others.

The Chief Minister was chairing a meeting of the Standing Finance Committee ‘C’ (SFC-C) at Haryana Niwas on Saturday. Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana and Irrigation Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry were also present.

During the meeting, the necessary budgetary provisions for the institute were approved. Keeping in view the residential requirements of students and faculty, an 11-storey residential complex will be constructed. Approval has also been given for the construction of a hostel for students.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that Gurugram is among the country’s leading corporate and startup hubs. In this backdrop, students of the institute will have better opportunities for direct industry engagement, internships, skill development, research and placements. Agriculture graduates will also receive the necessary training and guidance to establish businesses based on value addition, branding, processing and export of agricultural produce, as well as agri-tech.

He said the present State Government is committed to providing youth with quality education along with better employment and self-employment opportunities. Given the growing potential in the agriculture sector, connecting youth with agribusiness and entrepreneurship is the need of the hour. The institute will serve as an effective platform for promoting new ventures and innovation in the agriculture sector.

The Chief Minister said the institute would help establish stronger linkages between agriculture and industry. This would promote innovation-driven startups, rural entrepreneurship, investment, employment generation and better marketing of agricultural produce. It would also contribute to increasing farmers’ income and reducing migration of youth. The institute will play an important role in establishing Haryana as a national leader in the fields of agribusiness, innovation and entrepreneurship, he added.

*New Agribusiness Opportunities for Youth- Agriculture Minister*

Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said the establishment of the Business Management and Agripreneurship Institute in Gurugram would provide youth in the State with training in modern management, entrepreneurship and business skills in the agriculture sector.

He said the initiative would help move agriculture beyond traditional farming and open up new opportunities for youth in agribusiness, startups and value addition, while also playing an important role in increasing farmers’ income.

Vice-Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Prof. B.R. Kamboj, said that making agricultural education multidisciplinary and aligned with contemporary requirements is the need of the hour.

He said the institute being established in Gurugram would provide students an opportunity to develop an understanding of management and entrepreneurship alongside agriculture. In addition to classroom learning, students would be equipped to make decisions in real-world situations, solve problems and turn innovative ideas into viable business ventures.

He said special emphasis would be laid on case studies, project-based learning, practical training and guidance from experts at the institute. This would help students develop leadership abilities, a professional outlook and decision-making skills.

Prof. Kamboj said approval had been granted for the establishment of the Business Management and Agripreneurship Institute of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University at Village Daulatabad, Gurugram district. The State Government had also approved the necessary budgetary provisions for the institute and allocated funds for construction of the building. At present, approximately 95 per cent of the building construction work has been completed.

He further said that for the smooth functioning of the institute, the university has a provision of 84 posts—41 teaching and 43 non-teaching posts—in accordance with UGC/AICTE/ICAR norms.

Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. Arun Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department Sh.Vijayendra Kumar, Chairperson, Haryana Water Resources Authority, Sh. Pawan Yadav, and other officers were present at the meeting.

मुख्यमंत्री शनिवार को हरियाणा निवास में स्टैंडिंग फाइनेंस कमेटी ‘C’ (SFC-C) की बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे। इस दौरान कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री श्याम सिंह राणा और सिंचाई मंत्री श्रीमती श्रुति चौधरी भी मौजूद थीं।

बैठक में इंस्टीट्यूट के लिए ज़रूरी बजट प्रावधानों को मंज़ूरी दी गई। छात्रों और फैकल्टी की रहने की ज़रूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, 11 मंज़िला रिहायशी कॉम्प्लेक्स बनाया जाएगा। छात्रों के लिए हॉस्टल बनाने की भी मंज़ूरी दी गई है।

श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि गुरुग्राम देश के प्रमुख कॉर्पोरेट और स्टार्टअप हब में से एक है। ऐसे में, इंस्टीट्यूट के छात्रों को इंडस्ट्री से सीधे जुड़ने, इंटर्नशिप, स्किल डेवलपमेंट, रिसर्च और प्लेसमेंट के बेहतर मौके मिलेंगे।

उन्होंने कहा कि मौजूदा राज्य सरकार युवाओं को अच्छी शिक्षा के साथ-साथ रोज़गार और स्वरोज़गार के बेहतर मौके देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह इंस्टीट्यूट खेती और इंडस्ट्री के बीच मज़बूत संबंध बनाने में मदद करेगा। इससे इनोवेशन पर आधारित स्टार्टअप्स, ग्रामीण एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप, निवेश, रोज़गार पैदा करने और कृषि उत्पादों की बेहतर मार्केटिंग को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

*युवाओं के लिए एग्रीबिज़नेस के नए मौके – कृषि मंत्री*

कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्री श्री श्याम सिंह राणा ने कहा कि गुरुग्राम में ‘बिज़नेस मैनेजमेंट और एग्रीप्रेन्योरशिप इंस्टीट्यूट’ की स्थापना से राज्य के युवाओं को कृषि क्षेत्र में आधुनिक मैनेजमेंट, एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप और बिज़नेस स्किल्स की ट्रेनिंग मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि इस पहल से खेती को पारंपरिक तरीकों से आगे बढ़ाने और युवाओं के लिए एग्री-बिज़नेस, स्टार्टअप और वैल्यू एडिशन के नए मौके बनाने में मदद मिलेगी, साथ ही किसानों की आय बढ़ाने में भी यह अहम भूमिका निभाएगी।

*खेती की पढ़ाई को मैनेजमेंट और एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप से जोड़ना आज की ज़रूरत है – प्रो. बी.आर. कंबोज*

चौधरी चरण सिंह हरियाणा एग्रीकल्चरल यूनिवर्सिटी, हिसार के वाइस-चांसलर प्रो. बी.आर. कंबोज ने कहा कि खेती की पढ़ाई को मल्टी-डिसिप्लिनरी (कई विषयों से जुड़ी) बनाना और आज की ज़रूरतों के हिसाब से ढालना समय की मांग है।

उन्होंने कहा कि गुरुग्राम में बनने वाला यह संस्थान छात्रों को खेती के साथ-साथ मैनेजमेंट और एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप की समझ विकसित करने का मौका देगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि संस्थान में केस स्टडी, प्रोजेक्ट-बेस्ड लर्निंग, प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग और विशेषज्ञों से मार्गदर्शन पर खास ज़ोर दिया जाएगा।

प्रो. कंबोज ने बताया कि गुरुग्राम ज़िले के दौलताबाद गाँव में चौधरी चरण सिंह हरियाणा एग्रीकल्चरल यूनिवर्सिटी के ‘बिज़नेस मैनेजमेंट एंड एग्रीप्रेन्योरशिप इंस्टीट्यूट’ को बनाने की मंज़ूरी मिल गई है।

उन्होंने आगे कहा कि संस्थान के सुचारू रूप से काम करने के लिए, यूनिवर्सिटी ने UGC/AICTE/ICAR के नियमों के अनुसार 84 पदों—41 टीचिंग और 43 नॉन-टीचिंग पदों—का प्रावधान किया है।

बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री के मुख्य प्रधान सचिव श्री राजेश खुल्लर, मुख्यमंत्री के प्रधान सचिव श्री अरुण गुप्ता, कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्री विजेंद्र कुमार, हरियाणा जल संसाधन प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष श्री पवन यादव और अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद थे।
