One of the most popular events for publishing industry as well as bibliophiles, the 28th edition of the Delhi Book Fair (August 07-11, 2024) is being organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) in Hall No 12A & 12, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Stationery Fair, Office Automation & Corporate Gift Fair are among the added attractions Inspired by a dynamic vision of the hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the event has tremendous importance in catalysing India’s literacy programme for overall empowerment of the country. Significantly, in view to fulfill aspiration of the Indian publishing industry, the event has been planned in more than double of the size of the last edition with its theme : ‘Global Influence of Indian Books”.

Delhi Book Fair and its allied events provide ideal opportunity for business expansion, brand promotion and image building.The fair provides an ideal platform for B2B transaction, networking entering into co-publishing arrangements, translation and copy right, reprinting old books apart from retail opportunities to the participants. This edition of the event has an added significance as it coincides with the Independence Day2024 celebrations. Alongwith extensive publicity through print, electronic and social media, a number of promotional programmes such as conference, workshops, painting competitions etc. will make the event more meaningful for the participants as well as visitors.

The exhibitors profile covers – publishers, sellers and distributors of books, periodicals and magazines. Manufacturers and dealers of teaching aids and computer software. Corporate, etc., while visitor profile covers national and international publishers, librarians, researchers, academicians, writers, dealers and traders, students and general public.

ITPO and FIP are extending special invitation to all the educational institutions, universities, academies, colleges and schools for maximizing the visitor response

To make Delhi Book Fair 2024 more meaningful, for the participants and visitors, a number of conferences, seminars, workshops, book releases, meet the authors program, painting competitions and cultural events are also being scheduled.

प्रकाशन उद्योग के साथ-साथ पुस्तक प्रेमियों के लिए सबसे लोकप्रिय आयोजनों में से एक, दिल्ली पुस्तक मेले का 28वां संस्करण (07-11 अगस्त, 2024), इण्डिया ट्रेड प्रमोशन आर्गनाइजेशन (आईटीपीओ) द्वारा आयोजित किया जा रहा है, जो वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार का एक उद्यम है और जिसे हॉल नं. 12ए और 12, भारत मंडपम में भारतीय प्रकाशक संघ (एफआईपी) के सहयोग से आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इसमें, स्टेशनरी मेला, ऑफिस ऑटोमेशन और कॉर्पोरेट गिफ्ट मेला अतिरिक्त आकर्षणों में से एक हैं।
माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी के गतिशील दृष्टिकोण से प्रेरित इस कार्यक्रम का देश के समग्र सशक्तिकरण हेतु भारत के साक्षरता कार्यक्रम को गति देने में अत्यधिक महत्व है। सार्थक रूप से भारतीय प्रकाशन उद्योग की आकांक्षाओं को पूर्ण करने हेतु, इस कार्यक्रम को पिछले संस्करण के आकार से दोगुने से भी अधिक आकार में आयोजित करने की योजना बनाई गई है, जिसकी थीम है: ‘भारतीय पुस्तकों का वैश्विक प्रभाव’।

दिल्ली पुस्तक मेला और इससे जुड़े कार्यक्रम व्यवसाय विस्तार, ब्रांड प्रचार और छवि निर्माण के लिए आदर्श अवसर प्रदान करते हैं। यह मेला प्रतिभागियों को खुदरा बिक्री के अवसरों के अलावा बी2बी लेनदेन, नेटवर्किंग, सह-प्रकाशन व्यवस्था, अनुवाद और कॉपीराइट, पुरानी पुस्तकों के पुन:र्मुद्रण के लिए एक आदर्श मंच प्रदान करता है। इस आयोजन का यह संस्करण इसलिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि यह स्वतंत्रता दिवस 2024 के समारोहों के साथ संयोग से जोड़ा हुआ है। प्रिंट, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से व्यापक प्रचार के साथ-साथ सम्मेलन, कार्यशालाएं, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिताएं आदि जैसे कई प्रचार कार्यक्रम: प्रतिभागियों और आगंतुकों के लिए इस आयोजन को और अधिक सार्थक बनाएंगे।

प्रदर्शकों की रूपरेखा में पुस्तकों, पत्रिकाओं और पत्रिकाओं के प्रकाशक, विक्रेता और वितरक, शिक्षण सहायक सामग्री और कंप्यूटर सॉफ़्टवेयर के निर्माता और डीलर तथा कॉर्पोरेट आदि शामिल हैं, जबकि आगंतुक की रूपरेखा में राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रकाशक, पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष, शोधकर्ता, शिक्षाविद, लेखक, डीलर और व्यापारी, छात्र तथा आम जनता शामिल हैं।

आईटीपीओ और एफआईपी की ओर से आगंतुकों की अधिकतम प्रतिक्रिया के लिए सभी शैक्षणिक संस्थानों, विश्वविद्यालयों, अकादमियों, कॉलेजों और स्कूलों को विशेष निमंत्रण दिये जा रहे हैं।

दिल्ली पुस्तक मेला 2024 को प्रतिभागियों और आगंतुकों के लिए अधिक सार्थक बनाने हेतु कई सम्मेलन, संगोष्ठियां, कार्यशालाएं, पुस्तक-विमोचन, लेखकों से मुलाकात कार्यक्रम, चित्रकला प्रतियोगिताएं और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।

इसकी खास बात यह है कि प्रतिभागियों और आगंतुकों की सुविधा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए विशेष ध्यान दिया गया है। इस आयोजन में सभी के लिए में प्रवेश निःशुल्क रहेगा। प्रदर्शनी सभी के लिए सुबह 11:00 बजे से शाम 7:00 बजे तक खुली रहेगी।
