Delhi Government Schools have been celebrates annual day functions.

New Delhi – Delhi government Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, Jeenat Mahal  and Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Qutub Road celebrated their Annual Days on 29th December 2022 at their school premises. Food and Supply Minister and MLA Ballimaran Shri Imran Hussain graced the occasion as chief Guest. The function was also attended by Area MCD Councillors Shri Mohammed Sadique, Smt Shamim Bano along with School Committee members, invitees, guests and parents. 
The Minister in his address highlighted the continuous endeavour of the school to improve the quality of education and also appreciated the school management efforts for providing a conducive, safe, happy and stimulating environment for the all round development of the students. The Minister also felicitated the School principals for their active participation in the betterment of education model in Delhi. 
Shri Imran Hussain congratulated school management and students on the annual festival of the school and said that quality education is the key for the development in any field. The F & S Minister said that an educated person builds a better society and a developed nation. Shri Imran Hussain also added that the Ballimaran area is constantly moving forward in the field of quality education and Government schools of Delhi are providing better education at par with private schools. The Minister assured school children for the new school buildings which are likely to be operational very soon for conducting the classes in the same lines of model classrooms.
The annual day function also witnessed the distribution of Annual Prizes and Awards in the School. The academic toppers were awarded with the Medals and certificates of appreciation. In addition, the prizes for the Painting competition, Essay writing, Debate competition, Sports functions, Art and Craft Exhibition and prizes for other cultural events were also distributed by the Minister.
Addressing the students, Shri Imran Hussain appreciated the students’ determination for organising such a colourful cultural programme with great enthusiasm and with high spirits. The students performed cultural programmes with great zeal and enthralled the audience. The Minister also acknowledged the efforts of ECO Club students for environmental conservation awareness programmes and to inculcate the culture of eco-friendliness and environmental conservation among them.
