(GIRD) और (ISLD) ने आज मदर डेयरी पार्क महरौली, दिल्ली में "धरती पर वृक्ष लगाओ धरती को हरा बनाओ, देश खुशहाल बनाओ" इस स्लोगन के साथ वृक्षा रोपण अभियांनकी शुआत की।
इस अवसर पर 2000 पौधों का वितरण भी किया गया। GIRD और ISLD के इस प्रयास ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण और सामुदायिक भागीदारी के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता को रेखांकित किया, जो एक स्थायी कल की दिशा में सामूहिक कार्रवाई को प्रेरित करता है।

Mehrauli, New Delhi – June 5, 2025 – In a vibrant demonstration of environmental stewardship and community spirit, the Green Institute for Research and Development (GIRD) and the Indian Society for Literacy Development (ISLD) jointly organized a World Environment Day program today at Mother Dairy Park, Mehrauli, Delhi. The event featured an impactful tree plantation drive and distribution of saplings on 5 June 2025 which is the inaugural part of a month-long programme.
The program was supported by the National Medicinal Plants Board, which provided a variety of medicinal plant saplings. Shri KP Hareendran Achari, President of both GIRD and ISLD, and Shri AK Shamshudeen, Secretary of GIRD, led the program. It saw enthusiastic participation from residents. Notable attendees included Shri RK Popli, President of the Senior Citizen Association, Mehrauli, and Shri Nirmal Singh, General Secretary of the Ekta Resident Welfare Association, Mehrauli. This effort by GIRD and ISLD underscored their commitment to environmental conservation and community engagement, inspiring collective action towards a sustainable tomorrow.

नई दिल्ली, महरौली – 5 जून 2025 –विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के अवसर पर पर्यावरण और सामुदायिक भावना के जीवंत प्रदर्शन में, ग्रीन इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट (GIRD) और इंडियन सोसाइटी फॉर लिटरेसी डेवलपमेंट (ISLD) ने आज मदर डेयरी पार्क महरौली, दिल्ली में “धरती पर वृक्ष लगाओ धरती को हरा बनाओ, देश खुशहाल बनाओ” इस स्लोगन के साथ वृक्ष रोपण संयुक्त अभियान की शुरुआत किया गया। इस अवसर पर 2000 पौधों का वितरण भी किया गया।
कार्यक्रम को राष्ट्रीय औषधीय प्लांट बोर्ड का के सहयोग से विभिन्न प्रकार के औषधीय पौधों उपलब्ध कराए गये। GIRD और ISLD दोनों के अध्यक्ष श्री के.पी. हरेंद्रन अचारी, और GIRD के सचिव श्री शमसुद्दीन ए. के. ने कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व किया। इसमें स्थानीय निवासियों ने उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी निभाई।
