Indian People in Solidarity with Palestine organized a flash protest at McDonald’s outlet in Janpath, Delhi on 3rd April 2026.

New Delhi – As part of the BDS India campaign, Indian People in Solidarity with Palestine (IPSP), this time protested outside McDonald’s. The activities called out the complicity of McDonald’s and Coca-Cola (the beverage supplier of McDonald’s) in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian masses.
Amidst the chaos of the geopolitical situation worldwide, with the Imperialist attack on Iran and the madness the Trump regime has unleashed, the larger BDS movement all over the world has intensified.
IPSP volunteers and activists took to streets appealing sensitive people to join the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Campaign. They addressed the onlookers and passers-by outside as well as inside the outlet and distributed pamphlets.
Rauf an activist pf IPSP talked about the complicity of Coke and McDonald’s. “We all know how McDonald’s have been distributing “happy meals” to the Israeli occupation forces the same forces who are torturing, killing, raping, burning and starving Palestinians on a daily basis.” said Rauf.
The complicity of coke is also not hidden from anyone. According to research by Who profits, the Central Beverage Company, known as Coca-Cola Israel, which is the exclusive franchisee of the Coca-Cola Company in Israel, operates a regional distribution center and cooling houses in the [Israeli] Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone.
Yogesh another activist talked about a very recent judgment passed and celebrated in the Israeli parliament about the death panelty law to execute Palestinian prisoners. He talked about how the most anti-human, draconian law since the Nazi Germany has been passed, they have given a free hand to these zionists to legally kill Palestinians”. Yogesh further talked about how all the justice-loving citizens should speak against this terrorist law.
Lastly Shivam, talked about the BDS movement and its need in recent times and the larger movement in solidarity of the liberation struggle of Palestinians which is very much is similar to the freedom struggle of our own country.
Indian People in Solidarity with Palestine strongly believes that today standing up with Palestine is standing up with humanity and this has nothing to do with any religion as it is not a matter of any religion but a liberation struggle of an oppressed nation.
