NBT-India hosts British Council International Publishing Fellows at its Headquarters

New Delhi – National Book Trust, India hosted British Council International Publishing Fellows at its headquarters on 23 January 2023. The delegation visited NBT-India as part of their India tour.

The delegation was welcomed at NBT-India by Shri Yuvraj Malik, Director, NBT-India. He gave an overview of the activities of the Trust and its contribution to the Indian publishing industry as well as its various initiatives towards promoting the reading habit in the country.

Ms. Rebecca Hart, Senior Relationship Manager Literature, British Council delivered a presentation on the British Council’s International Publishing Fellowship Programme.

Fellows and Officials from NBT-India had a fruitful interaction as they discussed the publishing industry in both countries. The tour concluded with a visit to the NBT-India Book Shop and National Centre for Children’s Literature (NCCL) Library.
