Awards for Excellence in IISE 2022

New Delhi – “At present, security is no longer a simplistic deployment of manpower and placing of basic equipment.” Reliable security can no longer hinge on a single dimensional approach. Today, integrated security systems incorporating requisite manpower, security procedures, appropriate gadgetry as well as capacity building is the need of the hour. To meet the challenges and demands of security, effective use of technology and its quick adaptation in all aspects of security has become an absolute necessity.
With the Award presentation ceremony of the 23rd India International Security Expo at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi organized by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) in association with ELCINA, the fair was concluded with a successful note. Significantly, there was a display of 60% security and safety products of indigenous technology justifying the “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, theme of the Exhibition.
The awards were presented by Shri Vikash Kumar Singh, General Manager, ITPO, Shri B.K. Dubey, General Manager, ITPO, Shri S.R. Sahoo, General Manager, ITPO, Shri Rajoo Goel, Secretary General, ELCINA and Shri Sanjeev Sehgal, Chairman Organising Committee ELCINA. Present on the occasion were senior officers of ITPO, participants and media persons.
Awards were given away in different categories.
Govt. Sector – Shell Scheme, Directorate of Coordination Police Wireless (DCPW), MHA was presented the Gold Medal, Tear Smock Unit (TSU), BSF received the Silver Trophy, and the Bronze Medal was presented to National Centre of Excellence in Technology for Internal Security (NCETIS), IIT Mumbai and Special Jury Award to Central Workshop and Stores, BSF Tekanpur.
In the Start-ups Category, Bharat Wire Mesh Pvt. Ltd., was honoured with the Gold, Silver to Verbena Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., and the Bronze trophies were presented to Sahu Global Pvt. Ltd.
In the Private Sector(Shell Scheme) Category, Tata Advanced Systems Limited was awarded with the Gold, Silver Security Instruments and Matrix Comsec Pvt. Ltd. received the Bronze Trophy and Tonbo Imaging India Pvt. Ltd. received the special jury award.
In the Private Sector (Bare Scheme) Category: Globus Infocom Limited was awarded with the Gold, SMPP Private Limited with the Silver and Audo Viso Pvt. Ltd. Pvt. Ltd. received the Bronze Trophy and Zen Technologies Limited and Glozen Secure received the special jury awards.
Complimenting ELCINA and others for the 23rd edition IISE, Shri Vikash Kumar Singh, General Manager assured the next edition of IISE will be held on a larger scale.
