On this occasion, the President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Sadatullah Husaini, delivered a brief address, drawing the attention of the attendees to some key points. He stated that festivals serve as an excellent means of bringing people together. Unfortunately, in the present times, some individuals are using these occasions not to unite but to divide people. A situation has been created where people have begun to fear festivals instead of cherishing them. In such circumstances, programs like Eid Milan have become more necessary than ever before. He highlighted that efforts are being made to erect barriers that divide people during festivals, whereas their true role is to serve as a bridge for unity. Beyond just social gatherings, festivals should become a means to collectively strive for justice and ensure fairness for all sections of society. The dignified presence of individuals from various countries, schools of thought, religions, and ideological backgrounds at this gathering sends a significant message to society. Such interactions help reinforce the spirit of Eid, which promotes unity, mutual harmony, and social solidarity.

Speaking on the Waqf Amendment Act, the JIH President called it an unjust law that the entire nation must unite against. He emphasized that since this Act is based on religious discrimination and bias, collective resistance against it is necessary. On this occasion, he also urged representatives of various embassies, influential personalities from the country, and citizens to support positive and constructive progress on the Palestine issue. He stated that the barbarity and brutality being inflicted in Palestine must be condemned by the global community, and every nation and individual must step forward against it. He asserted that striving together to establish peace and justice is a shared responsibility of all.
