NEW DELHI: 19TH JUNE 2023 – In another major step to ease the lives of Divyangjans in Delhi and bring them into the mainstream within the society, the Kejriwal Government will soon provide free equipment to them under the Sugamya Sahayak Yojana. The Social Welfare Department has prepared a list of equipment to be given to the Divyangjans in the city under the Sugamya Sahayak Yojana.
The Social Welfare Department will soon sign a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) with Alimco, after which the scheme will be implemented and brought to the public. Social Welfare Minister Shri Raj Kumar Anand chaired a meeting with the representatives of Alimco and a presentation was made to him on the equipment that will be distributed under the scheme. In the meeting, the Social Welfare Minister gave several important suggestions in the direction of making the equipment more convenient for the Divyangjans.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Government has been working in the interest of the disabled and the Sugamya Sahayak Yojana was planned to take the work further. Under this initiative, the state government will distribute 20 types of essential equipment like motorized tri-cycles, smart sticks, ear machines and wheelchairs to the Divyangjans. Apart from this, artificial limbs, walking stick, hearing aids, crutches, walking canes, walkers and rollers, folding active wheelchairs, foot care units and smart canes and shorthand machines for the blind will also be distributed.
With the help of these equipment, the working capabilities of the Divyangjan will increase. With the availability of such equipment, the Divyangjan will be able to commute with ease. These devices will help them to deal with the problems they face while commuting. The aim of the Kejriwal Government is to provide all possible help to the disabled and bring them into the mainstream of the society. With the help of these equipment, their abilities to get education and employment will also be boosted.
Keeping in view the successful operation of Sugamya Sahayak Yojana, the Delhi Government will sign a five-year MoU with Alimco for providing equipment to Divyangjans. Presently the Social Welfare Department has identified the equipment and prepared the MoU documents, and very soon the MoU will be signed with the company. After this process is completed, the details of the scheme will be provided to the public and the scheme will be implemented.
Camps will be organized at different places by the Social Welfare Department to distribute equipment to the Divyangjans. To avail benefits under Sugamya Sahayak Yojana of Delhi Government, the applicants who have a disability of 40 percent or more, will have to apply online and submit the certificate.

केजरीवाल सरकार दिव्यांगजनों को समाज की मुख्यधारा में लाने के लिए उनके आवागमन को आसान बनाने की दिशा में काम कर रही है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व में सुगम्य सहायक योजना को मंजूरी मिलने के बाद इस पर तेजी से कार्य शुरू हो गया है। समाज कल्याण विभाग ने “सुगम्य सहायक योजना” के तहत दिव्यांगों को दिए जाने वाले उपकरणों की सूची तैयार कर ली है। समाज कल्याण विभाग जल्द ही एलिम्को (alimco) के साथ एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर करेगा, जिसके बाद योजना को क्रियान्वित करते हुए इसे जनता के बीच लाया जाएगा। समाज कल्याण मंत्री राज कुमार आनंद की विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ हुई बैठक में दिव्यांगजनों को बांटे जाने वाले उपकरणों की प्रेजेंटेशन दिखाई गई। इस दौरान समाज कल्याण मंत्री ने उपकरणों को दिव्यांगजनों के लिए और अधिक सुविधानजक बनाने की दिशा में कई महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव दिए।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व में दिल्ली सरकार दिव्यांगजनों के हित में कार्य करते हुए “सुगम्य सहायक योजना” के तहत दिव्यांगों को मोटरचलित ट्राई-साइकिल, स्मार्ट छड़ी, कान की मशीन व व्हीलचेयर जैसे 20 प्रकार के जरूरी उपरकरण बांटेगी।
*जरूरतमंदों को आर्टिफिशियल लिम्ब्स, बैसाखी और मैकेनिकल ट्राई-साइकिल देगी केजरीवाल सरकार
केजरीवाल सरकार की सुगम्य सहायक योजना के तहत दिव्यांगजनों को मोटर और हाथ से चलने वाली व्हीलचेयर और ट्राई-साइकिल दी जाएंगी। इसके अलावा आर्टिफिशियल लिम्ब्स, छड़ी, कान की मशीन, बैसाखी, घूमने वाला बेंत, वॉकर और रोलर, फोल्डिंग एक्टिव व्हीलचेयर, फुट केयर यूनिट और नेत्रहीनों के लिए स्मार्ट बेंत व शॉर्टहैंड मशीन बांटे जाएंगे।
इन उपकरणों की मदद से दिव्यांगजनों की कार्य क्षमताओं में वृद्धि होगी। इस तरह के उपकरण मिलने से दिव्यांगजनों को आवगमन में सहूलियत मिलेगी। उन्हें कहीं भी आने-जाने में होने वाली समस्याओं से निपटने में यह उपकरण मददगार साबित होंगे। केजरीवाल सरकार का उद्देश्य है कि दिव्यांगजनों को हर संभव मदद कर उनको समाज की मुख्यधारा में लाया जाए। इन उपकरणों की मदद से दिव्यांजगनों को शिक्षा और रोजगार पाने की उनकी क्षमताओं को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
*एमओयू हुआ तैयार, जल्द ही दिव्यांगजनों को मिलेंगे उपकरण
सुगम्य सहायक योजना के सफल संचालन को ध्यान में रखते हुए दिल्ली सरकार दिव्यांगजनों को उपकरण प्रदान करने के लिए एलिम्को के साथ पांच वर्ष का एमओयू साइन करेगी। फिलहाल समाज कल्याण विभाग ने उपकरणों की पहचान कर एमओयू के दस्तावेज तैयार कर लिए गए हैं, बहुत जल्द एलिम्को के साथ एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाएंगे। जिसके बाद योजना को क्रियान्वित करते हुए इसे जनता के बीच लाया जाएगा। दिव्यांगजनों को उपकरण बांटने के लिए समाज कल्याण विभाग द्वारा अलग-अलग जगहों पर शिविरों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। दिल्ली सरकार की सुगम्य सहायक योजना के तहत लाभ उठाने के लिए आवेदक को 40 फीसदी या उससे अधिक दिव्यांग होना चाहिए, इसके लिए उन्हें ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर प्रमाण पत्र जमा करना होगा।
