दीक्षांत समारोह में उपराज्यपाल वी.के सक्सेना व नीति आयोग के वाईस-चेयरपर्सन सुमन बेरी भी हुए शामिल, छात्रों को डिग्री देकर किया सम्मानित

 नई दिल्ली – उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी बुधवार को केजरीवाल सरकार के डॉ.बी.आर.अंबेडकर यूनिवर्सिटी के 12वें दीक्षांत समारोह में शामिल हुई और स्नातक छात्रों को डिग्री देकर सम्मानित किया| इस मौके पर उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री ने छात्रों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि “दीक्षांत समारोह छात्रों, उनके माता-पिता और शिक्षकों के जीवन में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण दिनों में से एक है। उन्होंने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आप सभी को आभारी होना चाहिए कि कई लोगों के विपरीत, आपको अच्छे संस्थान में पढ़ने का अवसर मिला। इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि यह छात्रों के लिए अपने माता-पिता के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करने का एक अवसर है, जो इस यात्रा में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। साथ ही अब मौक़ा है कि आपने संस्थान में जो कुछ सीखा उसका इस्तेमाल अपने देश की तरक़्क़ी के लिए करें। 

उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि अंबेडकर यूनिवर्सिटी न केवल दिल्ली में बल्कि पूरे भारत में लिबरल आर्ट यूनिवर्सिटी के रूप में प्रख्यात है। उन्होंने कहा कि, कई बार हमारे समाज में लिबरल आर्ट्स को हेय दृष्टि से देखा जाता है| लेकिन लिबरल आर्ट्स पढ़कर स्टूडेंट्स के भीतर दुनिया के प्रति जो नजरिया विकसित होता है, ऐसा नज़रिया किसी और डिसिप्लिन में विकसित नहीं होता है।

दीक्षांत समारोह के मौक़े पर शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी ने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि, “छात्रों के जीवन में दीक्षांत समारोह परिवर्तन का एक चरण होता है जहां हर छात्र को तीन चीजें याद रखनी चाहिए। उन्हें अपने निर्णय स्वतंत्र रूप से लेने चाहिए, उन माता-पिता के प्रति जिम्मेदार होना चाहिए जिन्होंने उन्हें सफल बनाने के लिए अपना जीवन दिया और देश के प्रति जिम्मेदार होना चाहिए जिसने उनके लिए उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली शिक्षा की सुविधा प्रदान की।

उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री आतिशी ने कहा कि स्नातक और दीक्षांत समारोह किसी भी छात्र के जीवन में महत्वपूर्ण दिन होता हैं। जहां वो छात्र जीवन से एक ज़िम्मेदार वयस्क बनने की ओर बढ़ते है। कॉलेज के दौरान छात्र अधिकतर उन विषयों पर निर्णय लेने में व्यस्त रहते हैं जो भविष्य में उनके लिए उपयोगी होंगे। लेकिन ग्रेजुएशन के बाद अचानक ही जिंदगी में कई अहम फैसले लेने पड़ते हैं। इस पड़ाव पर, स्नातक छात्रों के लिए सावधानीपूर्वक और स्वतंत्र रूप से निर्णय लेना महत्वपूर्ण है।

उन्होंने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, आज आप एक प्रमुख विश्वविद्यालय से, देश के सर्वश्रेष्ठ तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालयों में से एक से डिग्री प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, और इसके बाद, आपको एक बहुत अच्छी नौकरी मिल सकती है। लेकिन एक बात आपको याद रखनी होगी कि आपकी यह उपलब्धि अकेले आपकी नहीं है। आपको इस मुकाम तक लाने में कई लोगों का योगदान है, खासकर माता-पिता का। अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाने के लिए वे अक्सर खुद को पीछे रख देते हैं। वे अपने ऊपर कम खर्च करते हैं ताकि वे अपने बच्चे पर अधिक खर्च कर सकें। उनके अथक प्रयासों के कारण ही आप आज यहां हैं। उन्होंने कहा, अब जब आप सफल हो गए हैं, तो अपने माता-पिता और उनके प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी को कभी न भूलें।

“तीसरा, आप सभी छात्र इस देश का भविष्य है। आज ये देश बहुत सी समस्याओं से जूझ रहा है। ऐसे में आपको देश के प्रति अपनी ज़िम्मेदारियों को निभाने की ज़रूरत है।देश ने आपको आगे बढ़ने केअवसर दिए  इसलिए आज छात्रों की जिम्मेदारी है कि वे आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए और भी बेहतर अवसर तैयार करने में मदद करें। 

उन्होंने छात्रों से कहा कि,  आपको पढ़ने के बेहतर अवसर मिले हैं, अब यह आपकी जिम्मेदारी है कि आप इस देश को बेहतर बनाएं और इसे तरक्की के पथ पर ले जाएं। मेरा मानना है कि आपके पास एक बेहतर भारत बनाने की ताकत, जुनून और दृढ़ संकल्प है। भारत को दुनिया का  नं. 1 देश बनाने का जो सपना हमने देखा है, अब उसे पूरा करने की जिम्मेदारी आप पर है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि जब इस दहलीज से आप सब बाहर कदम रखेंगे तो आप सभी को अपने लिए या सिर्फ अपने परिवार के लिए नहीं सोचना है बल्कि आप सभी यहां से निकलते वक्त एक देश के लिए भी सपना लेकर जाये और इस भारत को दुनिया का नंबर.1 देश बनाने का सपना साथ लेकर जाए|

बता दे कि इस साल यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा 1095  डिग्रियां सौंपी गई है| इनमें 33 पीएचडी डिग्री, 13 एम फ़िल डिग्री, 602 पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिग्री,442 ग्रेजुएट डिग्रियाँ और 5 डिप्लोमा सौंपी गई।

उल्लेखनीय है कि, दीक्षांत समारोह में दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल वी.के सक्सेना व नीति आयोग के वाईस-चेयरपर्सन सुमन बेरी सहित अन्य गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

NEW DELHI– On Wednesday, Education Minister Atishi attended the 12th convocation ceremony of Kejriwal Government’s Ambedkar University. She honored the graduating students by awarding them degrees. On this occasion, the Education Minister, inspiring the students, said, “Convocation ceremonies are among the most crucial days in the lives of students, their parents, and teachers.” Addressing the students, she expressed gratitude that, unlike many others, they had the opportunity to study in a good institution. She emphasized that students need to express gratitude to their parents, who play the most crucial role in this journey. Furthermore, she urged the students to utilize what they have learned in the institution for the development of their country.

Education Minister stated that Ambedkar University is renowned not only in Delhi but throughout India as a liberal arts university. She mentioned that liberal arts are often viewed with a critical perspective in our society. However, the perspective developed within students by studying liberal arts is unique and cannot be cultivated in any other discipline, she added.

On the occasion of the convocation ceremony, Education Minister Atishi addressed the students, stating, “Convocation is a phase of transformation in students’ lives, where each student should remember three things. They should make decisions independently, be responsible towards their parents who dedicated their lives to their success and feel accountable to the nation that provided them with access to high-quality education.

Education Minister Atishi mentioned that both the graduation and convocation ceremonies are significant days in a student’s life, marking their transition into responsible adults. During college, students are often occupied with decisions related to subjects that will be useful for their future. However, after graduation, they suddenly find themselves having to make crucial life choices. At this stage, graduates need to make decisions carefully and independently.

While addressing the students, she said, “Today, you are receiving a degree from one of the leading universities in the world, and after this, you may land a very good job. However, one thing you must remember is that this achievement is not yours alone. Many people, especially your parents, have contributed to bringing you to this point. They often sacrifice to provide their children with a good education, putting themselves behind so that they can spend more on their children. It is due to their tireless efforts that you are here today. Now that you have succeeded, never forget your responsibility towards your parents.”

“Thirdly, all students are the future of this country. Today, the country is grappling with many challenges. In such times, they need to fulfill their responsibilities toward the nation. The country has provided them with opportunities to progress, so it is the responsibility of students to help prepare even better opportunities for the coming generations.”

She told the students, “You have better education opportunities and now it is your responsibility to make this country better and lead it on the path of progress. I believe you have the strength, passion, and firm resolve to build a better India. The dream we have seen of making India the number one country in the world, it is now your responsibility to fulfill that dream.”

She said that when one steps out of this threshold, they should not only think about themselves or just their family but with a dream for the country as well. Take the dream of making India the number one country in the world along.

It should be noted that this year the university awarded a total of 1095 degrees. These include 33 PhD degrees, 13 MPhil degrees, 602 postgraduate degrees, 442 graduate degrees, and 5 diplomas.

It is noteworthy that dignitaries such as Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena and NITI Aayog Vice-Chairperson Suman Bery, among others, were present at the convocation ceremony.
