New Delhi, February 4, 2025: Authors discussions, books, art installations – the Constitution of India was celebrated across platforms on day 4 of the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025.
The inaugural session at the Theme Pavilion today, saw scholar Sampadananda Mishra and journalist, author Shashiprabha Tiwari lead a discussion on ‘Reflection of Indian Civilization Values on Indian Constitution’. The speakers spoke about how Indian cultural values and principles have influenced the Constitution of the country and the need to celebrate those values in today’s times.
For visitors who would like to take back a copy of the Constitution of India home, the Fair offered plenty of options. From pocketbook-style editions, to coffee table book-style hardbound copies, there’s a copy of the Constitution to suit every requirement. The NBT stall at NDWBF even showcases publications that delve into different aspects of the Constitution and the Parliament of India – such as Our Constitution – Essence and Elucidation by Lakshminarayan Bhala ‘Lakkhi Da’ and Our Parliament by Subhash Kashyap.
Apart from the Theme Pavilion, which guides visitors through different facets of the Constitution in line with the NDWBF2025 theme, Republic @75, visitors at Hall 5 of the fair are greeted by replicas of the Consideration, in different languages.
Among other sessions held on day 4 of NDWBF2025, Kidz Kingdom at Children’s Pavilion was off to an exciting start today, with writer, author and environmental activist Anita Bhatnagar Jain (IAS) taking children to the wonderful world of stories, with stories written in her book ‘Kumbh’.
Author and co-founder of Quizcraft Global, Aditya Nath Mubayi conducted a quiz competition for children. Themed ‘Glimpses of India’, children were quizzed on different places of interest in India. Renowned math mentalist Rahul Singh also led a session for children today at Kidz Kingdom.
At the International Events Corner, traveler and the inspiration behind the book ‘Atlas of Russia’s Mysterious Places’, took audiences through the hidden wonders of Russia, sharing personal anecdotes from her travels and places of interest in Russia, like Arkaim and shores of the Baltic Sea, that continue to command widespread intrigue even today.
A session at Authors’ Corner on day 4 of NDWBF2025 took visitors through a journey of another kind – from book, to screen. Authors Puneet Sikka, Gautam Chintamani and Ashutosh Jaiswal led a session on what makes for an ideal book-to-screen adaptation.
